Eagle Eye

for a really long time, i haven't watch a movie in the theatre, and I did went to watch a movie yesterday."Eagle Eye"
the idea is not new, but it does remind me about how the technology is affecting us.

we use computer, cellphone, ipod, mac everyday, and seems like we cannot live without it.

there is someone always argue that "is technology bringing us convinence or bringing inertsia"?

thats a really good question, just like in the movie, all the data of the US citizen are stored in one ,big storage system, and when the technology is having more power than the human, it will totally take over our daily life, and it would be control us instead of we giving command to the computer.

as the technology keep developing and it is a open-ended/ no-ended system, how can we survive under the thing that are not develop under our control, and we are totally under estimate the effects that technology would bring us.

video shooting

I have never shot any video in my entire life, especially the camera is right in front of me... and i feel embarrased@___@ as I think I am the only one in the class know how to speak Chinese, and interestingly, shooting a Chinese speaker worth 30 more points than a itlalian speak>___< i am so afraid of the whole class take a camera and shoot me...@___@It is really fun to get on the street, and ask for the pedestrian to cooperation with me, which was like...they would feel shy too!!right!?for the most impressed shot is me and Eliz was performing the ballroom dance move on the street...it was sooooooooooo fun and i have never thought of I can make it!is crazy and also let me know more about myself~~I was always thinking about shooting a music video for my friend in Hong Kong. may be this is a start for my video shooting experience=)

Our neigborhood!!!!BOTHELL

this is a really interesting field trip for me, i am not living near Bothell, and this was the first time to get the chance to look around and explore more about Bothell. Our group was being told to take pictures on a neigborhood, and I did found something really interesting. There are so many pattern and signs in our daily life, and we cannot live without the pattern and signs. e.g we have stop signs, we have the post box sign, garbage signs, and telling us what to do and what not to do. Besides having wonderful trees, flowers and plants in the neighborhood, let's check it out! and with the song "Let me take you there", and now, Let me take you there, and experience what I got in Bothell!!!

Game Time

I love to play games like monopoly with a plan and win after spending so much time and affort in it, although it is always a ever lasting game, it still attract me so much, I enjoy the moment of being the winner.=)
In the monoply, there is a routine for the steps you would be going through. Interestingly, you can choose staying or moving forward, on the same floor plan but you would always have many different possibilities and give ourselves suprises. Like we need to pay for the rent when we step on others property, and for sure, where we are buying a house or rent an apartment we are paying for it ; when you get wrong you would need to go to jail. Monopoly is just a mini-world, it is not real but some kind of reflecting the real world we are living.
Going through from "START" to "STOP" we woud gain money and start the journey again, just like we all do , after we went through one day, we gain some more knowledge and we start the other day on the same place and going through the rountine day by day.
There are also up and down in the game, the one having the most properties might not be the winner, and the one having the least might not be the loser, we don't know who would win and who would lose until the game end. We don't know how our every day life would be changing from day to day, and it depends on how we want it to be.

From the "everyday life"

I have never think of there are tones of ways to explain what is happening in our daily life.
even a habit or a routine.From the article of Maurice Blanchot which talks about a very interesting point.
I am not Christian or under any religion, but I was in a Christian school from the year of 6 to 18. The 12 years of religion study, learning how the Jesus as a saviour of us. I need to say the Lord's Prayer every morning in the assembly. I don't really know about the meaning of the Prayer, but it just come out from my mouth automatically every morning.
I don't pray before meals or before go to bed, I just pray once a day which is asking for the daily bread from God through the Lord's Prayer.
I have never think of the meaning of the Lord's Prayer untill I read this article. I realized that sometimes, religion is not really something need to be religious or humble to what we believe.Prayer is something would complete our day by making us feel more comfortable, coz no one would know about what is going to happen next second, but the prayer is a kind of psychological satisfation and make us calm, and believe~

the coming....winter

it seems like.....winter has came already.
windy...trees and leaves is blowing off.
i hate rainy days, is wet and also
it feels very dirty whtever you stepped on.

i love things to be neat and tidy, and clean of course.
thats why i hate rainning and snowing.
which made everything muddy>< on rainy day...there are not much to do.
juz stay at home.. and make some cake =)
i have made Banana Walnut muffins this week.
and i am thinking of making.....chocolate chips muffin today.haha.=)which must become the breakfast for my cousins!!!
